Ray He
Wandering between the inner and outer worlds, she carries an innate longing for the distant. Her works explore the relationship between humans and landscapes, tracing fragmentary impressions of her surroundings and shaping them into what she calls an "inner landscape"—a private terrain formed within consciousness. She was selected by Taiwan’s Ministry of Culture for a residency at Maison de la BD in Blois (2021–2022) and later joined a cross-disciplinary program in Fujiyoshida, Japan (2023). Her comics have been shortlisted for the Golden Comic Awards and the Tottori International Manga Competition, and exhibited at the Angoulême International Comics Festival, the Tottori Manga Kingdom showcase, and illustration fairs across Taiwan. To date, she has published three major comic works and several independent zines.
