On Sunday, June 1, 2025, NIUHI made its very first appearance at COMITIA 152, an indie and art event in Tokyo!
We set up our booth in the corporate exhibitor area at Tokyo Big Sight, and thanks to the many visitors who stopped by, it turned out to be a truly exciting and inspiring day!
A Unique Space to Discover Indie Manga from Around the World
At the NIUHI booth, we created a space where visitors could freely explore indie manga not just from Japan, but also from places like the U.S. and Hong Kong.
With a wide range of genres and creators from diverse backgrounds, it was a rare opportunity for many Japanese visitors to encounter international indie comics they might not come across elsewhere—an experience that sparked curiosity and delight in readers of all kinds.
Live Drawing by Ginko — One Half of the Creative Duo TALI, Authors of MOON CIDERS!
At the event, we hosted a live drawing session by Ginko, the talented artist behind MOON CIDERS, an original NIUHI title created by TALI.
With each stroke of the pen, Ginko brought the characters to life with both delicate detail and striking energy, drawing in curious onlookers who stayed to watch the entire process unfold.
